If you have been harbouring dreams of running away with the circus now may be your chance. The Beijing National Acrobatic Circus is coming to Portimao, Algarve, southern Portugal for two nights on the 21st and 22nd of August. The 35 performers, gymnasts and acrobats will be performing their “Dreams - The soul of China” show, so go along and enter the colorful world made of dreams seen through the eyes of a little girl! It Barefoot Diva time here in Algarve. Whatever you do this week get down to the fishermans beach at Albufeira and see the truly great Cabo Verde singer Cesaria Evora. That`s the evening of the 22nd of July and things kick off at around 10.30pm. Best of all this gig is free. Cesaria, who is 68 next month, is a grammy winner and last time she played in Algarve, tickets were 80 Euro a pop, so you can see the value in this free beach concert. We normally show a video preview of the artists performing but we like Cesaria so much weve got 3 videos for you to watch so you can really get a feel for her music, enjoy the videos and see you there….

That´s right, the hugely talented Joss Stone is playing in Loule next Friday the 31st of July at the Duarte Pacheco Monument. Things start at 10.00pm and tickets are 25 and 30 Euro, available from FNAC, Worten, Agencias Abreu and ticketline. This event is one of the highlights of the summer.
